Great service, friendly staff. Used the self serve pet grooming bathing area. Did not know I was supposed to book in advance, but they had no one using for the next hour so I was able to get my Husky bathed and dried. The supply of deshedder shampoos and condotioners was a pretty good deal for 16bucks.
I phoned earlier in the day to put aside an item for pick up later on that evening. The staff were very polite and courteous on the phone, and the pick up was a breeze.
Brought my maltipoo dog in to get groomed and did not get what I asked for at all. The first time we brought my dog here they did a good job, and the second time we went we asked for exactly that was on file. They did not follow the file at all. She claimed he was very matted and needed to be shaved, but I KNOW he was not that matted. He does have anxiety, especially when separated from me, but he always calms down and it has never been an issue. She seemed to blame this all on my dog and us and took no accountability for how unhappy we were. My dog also seems very uncomfortable now, almost naked. This has also happened to a friend of ours, with the same groomer and the same situation. Will not be returning.
It’s very convenient that PetValu has more than one location in Peterborough. It’s a great store with wonderful products for pets, and the wonderful staff are always friendly, helpful and very kind to customers and animals. Thank you, PetValu!
Great pet shop Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff make each trip a learning experience. If you have a fur baby, try the dog bath station, I don't know why I waited so long! Great winter refresh ?
Staff is great and always helpful and patient when my 3 year old wants to ask questions. The only spot we go to in Lindsay. Two years later and this still stands true! Plus we just adopted a cat through the adoption event they host for KLAWS amazing staff and people!
